Rheumatoid Arthritis Excellence Chair

We are seeking a Clinician Scientist to become the inaugural Chair in Rheumatoid Arthritis Excellence and Discovery at the University of Toronto. This position is for a 5-year term, and renewable following a successful review.
About the RoleThe Division of Rheumatology is seeking to advance the frontiers of rheumatoid arthritis care, research, innovation, and advocacy. The Chair in Rheumatoid Arthritis Excellence and Discovery will spearhead initiatives focused on promoting advances in person-centered care. In addition, the Chair will be part of a large, academically successful rheumatology unit with an active clinical role aligned with divisional and departmental priorities.
RequirementsThe successful candidate must hold or be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The Division of Rheumatology incorporates exemplary clinical care with an active clinical research program and a strong presence in medical education at the internal medicine, subspecialty, and fellowship levels.
