Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Gardener Helper to join our team at Les Cultures Tournesol inc. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks
  • Lay sod or seed to ensure a lush and vibrant outdoor space
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth and health
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, small engine equipment, tractors, and weed trimmers/edgers
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including wet, damp, noisy, dusty, and hot environments.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required
  • Physical demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Personal suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude
Language and Work Term

The job will be performed in French, and the work term is seasonal.

Working Hours

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week.
