About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Tokic Transport Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate records.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a two-person team or convoy, communicating effectively with colleagues and dispatchers.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Communication Systems: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and use a trip recorder (on-board computer).
  • Security and Safety: Possess a valid passport, undergo a criminal record check, and have a valid driver's license check.
  • Transportation/Travel: Willing to travel cross-border, for extended periods, and internationally, and willing to travel overnight.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
