Director of Engineering

We're seeking a seasoned Director of Engineering to lead our engineering organization in Ottawa, ON, Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving the success of our engineering teams, ensuring they deliver high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineering managers to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to develop and execute product roadmaps.
  • Ensure the adoption of best practices in software engineering, architecture, and delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve engineering processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product, design, and operations teams.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in cloud engineering and architecture.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
