Automotive Parts Coordinator

AutoCanada is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team at Sherwood Park Hyundai. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for coordinating parts orders, working closely with our Service team to provide exceptional customer service, and building relationships with wholesale and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and order parts in a fast-paced environment
  • Establish strong relationships with customers, both in person and over the phone
  • Clarify customer needs to locate required parts or services and suggest related products
  • Track inventory, reorder as needed, and special-order parts when necessary
  • Assist the Parts Manager in resolving discrepancies between computer inventory and available parts
  • Research part availability within the dealership or from other sources as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the Parts, Service, and Sales teams to create a seamless customer experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive dealership and/or Parts Department
  • Completion of a related post-secondary program or training courses is considered an asset
  • Experience with CDK and Star Parts is considered an asset
  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • Strong understanding of Parts and Service operations and inventory management
  • Excellent diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professionalism and high integrity, with a strong sense of trust and commitment
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful
  • High-level skills in Word, Excel, and MS Office
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving history
