Retail Store Supervisor Role at Friendly Dollar & Discount
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Friendly Dollar & Discount. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, supervising sales workers, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure the sales floor is staffed accordingly.
- Sell merchandise and promote our products to customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform store management decisions.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.
- Manage cash and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff.
