Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Conrad Kain's Kitchen + Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and preparing simple food items.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with setting tables, clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs, and restocking refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
