Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Aecon, a leading developer and constructor of infrastructure in the Canadian marketplace. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our projects, providing status reports, coordinating preparation and delivery of project deliverables, and ensuring quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide status reports of project progress
  • Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables and requests for information
  • Provide status and progress reports to supervisor/manager
  • Develop and maintain project tracking tools
  • Coordinate site procurement activities, including preparation of purchase requisitions and materials tracking
  • Active involvement in quality assurance, understanding and implementing policies and procedures
  • Provide project management assistance as required

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • 3rd or 4th year Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
  • Organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task
