Senior Marketing Director

Colgate-Palmolive, a leading consumer products company, seeks a Senior Marketing Manager to join its team in South Africa. With over 200 years of history and a presence in more than 200 countries, the company offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.
About the RoleThis position involves developing strategy, innovation, and business excellence (IBE) for key brands. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in FMCG marketing, with a strong understanding of brand strategy, portfolio management, communication development, and commercial growth plans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and delivering results-driven strategies. A proven track record of success in digital and design thinking is essential, as well as experience in agile innovation development.
Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive brand strategies and long-term growth plans
- Create focused innovation roadmaps based on brand needs and commercial requirements
- Promote business excellence through collaboration with advertising agencies and other divisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
- 10+ years of experience in FMCG marketing
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, portfolio management, and commercial growth plans
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
- Experience in digital and design thinking, as well as agile innovation development
Colgate-Palmolive is committed to offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development. The estimated annual salary for this role is R1,200,000 - R1,500,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
