Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Full Time and Part Time

Spectrum Health Care Inc is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team in Richmond Hill. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our patients, enabling them to recover safely from an acute illness or remain in their homes throughout the aging process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, skincare, light meal preparation, and feeding.
  • Continually assess, anticipate, identify, and respond to new and changing needs of patients, communicating available resources to patients when appropriate.
  • Perform delegated and/or assigned tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
  • Travel within assigned regions between patients' residences or facilities.
Requirements:
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved program.
  • RN/RPN Student who has completed a minimum of year one of the program.
  • Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife, or Physician.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR.
  • Two Step TB Test (last 12 months).
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills (additional language skills considered an asset).
