Commercial Property Management Opportunity

At BentallGreenOak, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our commercial property management team, you'll provide essential support for the day-to-day administrative activities of our commercial portfolio.

As a Property Administrator, your responsibilities will include providing support for all aspects of day-to-day accounting and administrative activities, such as rent collection, cheque posting, and application of money to tenant accounts. You'll also be responsible for liaising with tenants and accounting regarding accounts receivable matters, reporting weekly on status of account receivables, reviewing monthly recurring billings, and processing invoices and related reports within Yardi.

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities. Previous experience in real estate operations is an asset, but not required. You'll have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and previous experience in Yardi software programs would be an asset.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of high-level administrative experience, with a strong financial acumen and ability to analyze and interpret company policies and procedures.
  • Experience in real estate operations is an asset.
  • High school diploma supplemented with some post-secondary accounting and computer courses, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in Yardi software programs is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Police Clearance: A criminal verification check is required for employment.
