About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychotherapist to join our team at Pearl Specialist Clinic. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Mental Health Conditions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Provide Psychotherapy Services: Offer individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote positive change and well-being.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Conduct Research and Stay Up-to-Date: Participate in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of clinical psychology.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related field, and be licensed to practice in the province of Canada.
  • Experience and Skills: Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical psychology, with a strong background in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
