At Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., we are seeking a talented Marketing Strategist with Business Acumen to join our high-performing team in Vancouver, BC. With a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, this role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong business mindset and creative problem-solving skills.

About the Role

The Brand Manager will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of our Marketing team with our Sales team, ensuring our published content is targeted, accurate, and inspiring. This includes producing a steady stream of written, audio, and video content designed to engage the audience across all prominent social media platforms, email campaigns, website development, and public relations.

We require someone who can handle multiple projects simultaneously, articulate clearly in both written and verbal settings, and have extensive experience in social media, including X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others. Experience using SquareSpace, WordPress, or other web content management systems, as well as graphic design experience with Canva and/or Adobe Suite, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Understanding and championing our vision, articulating it into an understandable format for our creative team, and ensuring consistency across all mediums and platforms.
  • Content: Producing a steady stream of written, audio, and video content designed to engage the audience, including social posts, email campaigns, video stories, website updates, and sales material.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring our message is consistent across all mediums and platforms, so the consumer understands our value proposition, regardless of how they found us.
  • Merchandise: Overseeing the design and production of our apparel and merchandise items.
  • Conferences: Equipping our sales team with the materials needed for successful conferences or road trips.
  • Interviews: Booking guests for our podcast episodes.

What We Need

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business degree preferred).
  • 3-8 years of work experience in marketing, preferably in finance-related or communications fields.
  • Presentation skills in a formal business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
  • Experience with SEO and graphic design tools like Canva and/or Adobe Suite.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing software, and web content management systems.
