Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the work of carpenters on site, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, working closely with suppliers and vendors.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the trade, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Carpenter Trade Certification and First Aid Certificate required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
