About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to join our team at Robinhood. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our data pipelines and datasets.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and data engineering, with experience in coaching and mentoring engineers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects in record time, applying technical leadership and expertise to both your team and across engineering, and improving the ease of accessing insights from data within Robinhood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines and datasets
  • Coach and mentor engineers on the team
  • Deliver high-quality projects in record time
  • Apply technical leadership and expertise to both your team and across engineering
  • Improve the ease of accessing insights from data within Robinhood
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or data engineer and 3+ years as a manager
  • Proven ability to coach engineers and interns on the team
