Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Consulting practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data strategies, roadmaps, and operating models to drive business value
  • Lead assessments and improvements of data quality, ensuring accurate and reliable data for informed decision-making
  • Implement data management capabilities, including cloud-based ERP systems, to enhance data performance and efficiency
  • Manage data migrations, providing best practices and expertise on specific ERP systems
  • Deploy and adopt modern data platforms, ensuring seamless integration with business and technology ecosystems
  • Secure trusted analytics through transparent and well-governed processes, data platforms, and data lakes
  • Advise on digital solutions for document and content management, driving business efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and utilize technical and industry knowledge to resolve complex client challenges and consult on leading practice solutions
  • Lead business development, presenting thought leadership to clients, industry conferences, and developing winning proposals
Requirements
  • Completed MBA or Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Science
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Consultant or Manager in a consulting environment or data management roles
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to communicate strategic solutions to client stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for complex projects and problem-solving
  • Insights and methods for data quality analysis, transformation, mapping, and cleansing
  • Team player with a willingness to collaborate on dynamic growth and innovation
  • Knowledge of governance and data management standards, such as DAMA-DMBOK, CMMI, and DCAM
  • Experience with cloud-based data management platforms, such as Informatica, Collibra, Microsoft, IGC, and Snowflake
  • Industry-recognized designations/certifications, including PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, Azure Cloud Solution Architecture, and CDMP
