Department Administrative Assistant

Sinai Health System is a leading healthcare provider in Canada, dedicated to delivering high-quality care and services to our patients and community. We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as a Department Administrative Assistant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior leadership, coordinating departmental meetings, and managing budgets. Additionally, they will assist with transcription and reporting requirements, develop clinical/on-call schedules, and manage CIS MFM and CIS OBGYN.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and ability to effectively convey factual information. They must also demonstrate flexibility in adjusting work schedules according to changing priorities and meeting demanding deadlines.
The following are the key responsibilities of this role:
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership
- Coordinate departmental meetings
- Manage budgets
- Assist with transcription and reporting requirements
- Develop clinical/on-call schedules
- Manage CIS MFM and CIS OBGYN
Required qualifications include a postsecondary degree or Office Administration Diploma from a recognized educational institution, minimum three years of recent and related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
