**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team at Encore Technical Solutions Inc. in the Greater Toronto Area.

**Role and Responsibilities:**

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the development of enterprise-level IT solutions, focusing on robust data architecture that meets functional, security, and service requirements.
  • Data Solution Design: Design scalable and efficient data solutions aligned with organizational IT strategy and compliance standards, emphasizing Snowflake as a core platform.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Architect data solutions ensuring high availability, security, resilience, and optimal performance for enterprise applications.
  • Present and evaluate design options with detailed cost-benefit and risk analysis for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with immediate needs while supporting long-term strategic objectives.
  • Ensure seamless integration and integrity of data solutions across platforms, managing transitions effectively.
  • Provide accurate estimations for IT initiatives and agile sprints to drive business outcomes.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks in proposed solutions.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews, leveraging insights to enhance future solution designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and advancements in data and analytics technologies, with a focus on Snowflake and related ecosystems.
  • Recommend and implement cutting-edge tools and platforms to enhance enterprise data capabilities.
  • Champion best practices in data architecture, conducting compliance reviews to ensure adherence.
  • Produce and review comprehensive design documentation tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.

Benefits:

  • $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days per week in-office.
  • 6-month extendable contract with opportunities for growth.
