Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Manage staff schedules, including time-off requests and vacation coverage.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
