The Opportunity
As a key member of our Operations Team in Toronto, the Outbound Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our transportation network.
- Develop and implement effective pre-planning strategies to meet customer requirements and optimize equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with Driver Coordinators to achieve driver needs and goals.
- Monitor and maintain customer trailer pools to ensure seamless logistics.
- Work with customers, other carriers, and load brokers to balance trucks and optimize routes.
- Perform related duties assigned by supervision or management.

What you need to be successful in the role:
- Must be fluently bilingual (French and English).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in effective trip planning.
- Strong self-discipline to effectively complete tasks without constant supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Effective geographical knowledge of North America.
- Must be willing and able to work Statutory holidays when required.
- Effective computer keyboard skills.
- ACE and Customs/border crossing experience an asset.
- AS400/ICC experience an asset.
- Available to work Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 12:00am.
