About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Manna Fresh Korea Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, maintaining a well-organized and clean kitchen environment.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following established procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring timely restocking.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives, ensuring they are always in good working condition.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for cooking and service.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team setting. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for a team player who is able to work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to achieve our goals. Experience is an asset, but not required. We offer a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Language of work: English. Hours of work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
