Dietary Aide Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Wolfville Nursing Homes Ltd. in a long term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal preparation and serving of full course meals, individual dishes, and special meals for patients as instructed by the chef.
  • Work with minimal supervision to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, and wash dishes.

Requirements:

  • Food Handler's Certificate
  • At least one year of experience in a food service or long term care setting
  • Ability to work well unsupervised and with minimal notice
  • Own, reliable transportation
  • Criminal Record Check

Compensation: $15.45 per hour
