About the Role

Little Munchkin Daycare is seeking a skilled and caring Daycare Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers with care and attention to detail
  • Developing and implementing engaging child-care programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child
  • Leading activities that promote learning and development through storytelling, teaching songs, and exploring local points of interest
  • Encouraging creativity through various forms of expression, including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Guiding children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Monitoring children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and reporting to parents or guardians as needed
  • Attending staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges faced by children
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children
Requirements
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification
  • Criminal record check and immunization records
