About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PAMIA CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with a large workload and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
