Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Export Coordinator to join our team at DSV Global Transport & Logistics. As an Operations Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of shipments, ensuring compliance with DSV policies and government regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate daily shipments, establishing and coordinating schedules with carriers and tendering shipments.
  • Create and coordinate country-specific documents, adhering to all domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Track and trace all shipments, prepare and publish reports as requested.
  • Proactively identify problems and implement solutions, confirming rates with carriers and responsible for cost containment of shipments.
  • Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective method of pick-up and delivery.
  • Ensure all DSV KPIs are met throughout the movement of the shipment, performing lane analysis to select the most appropriate mode of transport within customer requirements.
  • Communicate daily with customers on relevant issues and resolution, managing new account implementation from standard operating procedure to execution.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of international transportation industry experience or education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study.
  • CIFFA certificate, Dangerous Goods Certification, and Authorized Cargo Representative (ACR) designated status are assets.
  • Good command of English skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to create collaborative engagements and active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task, plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
