Job Title: Power Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer to join our Maintenance team at Daiya Foods Inc. As a Power Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain, and manage equipment in the plant, including steam boilers, ammonia systems, and process systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to complete new projects, work orders, and follow a Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC and human comfort systems, including air handling units, make-up air units, and supply and exhaust fans.
  • Complete daily logs and preventative maintenance schedules as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Power Engineer in a manufacturing environment with ammonia systems.
  • Well-developed maintenance skill set, including mechanical and control drawings.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekend hours if required.
  • Knowledge of SOPs, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices in the food industry is an asset.
