Job Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Quality Inn. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hotel.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure independence and efficiency.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure guest safety.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
