Study Coordinator Job Description

Pharma Medica Research Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Study Coordinator to join our team in Scarborough. As a Study Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing clinical trials, ensuring the smooth operation of our research studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of clinical trials, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Generate study summaries and ensure the availability of regulatory documents prior to study check-in.
  • Coordinate the ordering of study-specific materials and conduct pre-study protocol review meetings for the technical team.
  • Prepare study schedules and ensure the timely receipt and review of post-study laboratory reports.
  • Communicate with the Screening department to address queries pending at check-in and ensure the timely completion of deviation forms.
  • Supervise and assist in the performance of technical functions, including phlebotomy, ECG, vital signs, and other clinical tasks.
  • Ensure subject safety by timely documenting and following up on Adverse Events.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management department regarding study-related issues and project deadlines.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts among subjects and address subjects' concerns.
  • Generate client updates and forward to the Project Management department as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum B.Sc. degree with 1 year experience in conducting clinical trials or;
  • M.Sc. degree with adequate knowledge of conducting clinical trials.
  • Working knowledge of Phase I study protocols and conduct.
  • GCP training.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Flexibility with changes in working schedules/shifts.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
