The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Corporate Programs and Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team. This key role will be responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of the financial, capital, and facilities, digital transformation, environmental sustainability targets, logistics, and procurement, audit, internal controls, and risk management of the operations of IWK Health.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the organization's financial and operational strategies
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the financial, capital, and facilities, digital transformation, environmental sustainability targets, logistics, and procurement, audit, internal controls, and risk management of the operations of IWK Health
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement the organization's strategic plan
- Develop and manage the organization's budget and financial plans
- Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to financial and operational management
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance and corporate programs teams
To be successful in this role, you will have a professional accounting designation complemented by a university degree in Health, Business Administration, or equivalent (preferably at the master's level). You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in successfully leading finance, facilities, and operations in a complex organization, and strategic leadership experience at the Executive and Board level.
You will have demonstrated the ability to develop and lead solid governance and internal control environments. You will be passionate about developing and supporting team members and leaders and developing an ethical, high-performing culture.
