Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial management.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure efficient store operations and meet customer demands.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
