Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Sourcing and Inventory: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for kitchen operations, menu development, and staff training.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
