About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Brooks Grocery. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to a wide range of products.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Workplace Safety and Compliance: Ensure that our store is a safe and healthy work environment, complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
