Hourly Rate of Pay: $23.61-$28.34
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and/or Accommodations Manager, the Cook I performs a range of cooking duties requiring sound judgment and independence, involving the safe and efficient use of quantity and quality control techniques while following established procedures and standards, standardized recipes, production sheets, and master menus.
The Cook I maintains a high standard of sanitation in preparing and handling food while coordinating meal production.
We are seeking a skilled Cook I to join our team at Shepherd's Care Foundation. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of institutional cooking experience and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Maintain a high standard of sanitation and food safety
- Coordinate meal production and ensure timely delivery
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve kitchen goals
Requirements
- Three to five years of institutional cooking experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
