Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on a variety of workplace matters, including employment standards, human rights, employment agreements, health and safety regulations, workplace policies, HR strategies, education law, and language rights.
  • Represent employers in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and civil litigation.
  • Advocate for clients in court at both trial and appellate levels.
  • Draft legal documents such as memoranda, opinions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of documents and case law to ensure the precision of legal advice and procedures.
  • Engage in business development initiatives to enhance brand visibility and build a professional profile.

Qualifications

  • LL.B or J.D. with outstanding academic achievements.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
