Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Canada Inc. as a key member of our facilities maintenance team.

Job Summary:

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including offices, common areas, and other designated spaces. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Restock linen closets and distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as operating rooms and other areas.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on facilities and amenities to guests and visitors.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a 40-hour workweek, including some evenings and weekends.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
