BenchSci Analytics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Chief Project Strategist to lead our Platform Project Management Office.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will oversee a group of Lead Project Managers who coordinate and drive alignment in prioritizing and planning our unified product roadmap and priority initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust project management framework that optimizes efficiency, transparency, and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of high-performing Program Managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize their individual and collective impact.
  • Partner closely with Platform PMO leadership, engineering, product, science, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Implement and continuously improve project management practices, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to drive value delivery for our end-users.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project management knowledge base, including templates, tools, and best practices, to empower teams and ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a robust system for tracking key project metrics, providing actionable insights and data-driven reporting to inform decision-making at all levels.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience leading a team of program/project managers in a highly technical, matrixed environment.
  • Proven track record of change management focused on building strong interdepartmental relationships and influencing people engagement and expectations management.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing project management methodologies within a complex matrixed agile organization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at various levels across multiple functions, including C-suite executives.
  • Ability to make and recommend data-driven decisions and leverage project management, workflow, and analytics tools (e.g., Monday, Looker Studio, Jira) to create a data-driven culture.
  • Experience managing complex software-based projects with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, managing dependencies across many concurrent projects.
Salary

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $180,000 to $220,000 depending on your qualifications and experience.
