We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Bus Driver - Transportation Specialist to join our team at the Eastern Townships School Board.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $25.32 per hour, with an hourly rate including premiums of approximately $32.00.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing safe and reliable transportation services to our students. As a School Bus Driver - Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for driving a school bus or minibus, ensuring the vehicle is clean and in good working condition, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as washing, cleaning, and fueling the vehicle.
You will also be required to adhere to safety standards and regulations, report any defects, and maintain accurate records of your activities. Additionally, you may be required to drive a lighter vehicle on occasion.
Required Qualifications- Hold a driver's license of the appropriate class for the role
- Have knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanics and preventative maintenance methods
- Be able to operate the vehicles safely and efficiently
