About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at BuildingFixr Inc. as a General Construction Labourer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris.
  • Perform various tasks related to construction, including assisting in the installation of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification.
  • Asbestos abatement training.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Working at heights training.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Provincial/Territorial Asbestos Hazards Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial, commercial, and institutional construction experience.
  • Residential construction experience.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
