Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our in-house technology team. As a key member of our Agile team, you will work with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Software Engineers, QA's, and Revenue Managers to build a game-changing dynamic pricing AI-based solution. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, building, and productionizing complex data pipelines, developing data ingestion modules, and productionizing AI models in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and top-notch data engineering solutions
  • Develop data ingestion modules that feed AI models
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to develop baseline AI models
  • Design and develop ETL pipelines for reporting, machine learning tasks, and data lakes
  • Productionize AI models in the cloud and ensure scalability
  • Run or participate in running ML/OR models/experiments with Data Scientists
  • Design, code, test, and integrate new features and functionality
  • Apply CI/CD practices to prevent integration problems and ensure releasability
  • Participate in scrum project meetings and update stories using project management tools
  • Participate in the estimation of stories based on defined acceptance criteria and definition of done
  • Refactor and test code
  • Design and implement software architecture for scalability and maintainability
  • Perform data profiling and analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development or data engineering (post-degree)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in designing and developing ETL pipelines
