We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. As a hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care and participate in a 7-day rotation, typically starting on a Monday.
The hospitalist schedule consists of full and half lines, with each full line covering approximately 15-18 patients across various units in the hospital. You will work closely with our team of physicians and staff to provide comprehensive care to patients, including those in the ICU and geriatric rehabilitation units.
As a hospitalist at St. Martha's Regional Hospital, you will have the opportunity to engage in research and medical teaching positions with Dalhousie University, if desired. The current remuneration arrangement includes a set daily rate as per the provincial hospitalist agreement, with a stipend and fee-for-service billings for on-call work.
The daily rate as of April 1st 2024, is $1515.25. You will be responsible for providing full scope of practice as a hospitalist, participating in call, and operating within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Permanent and short-term appointments available
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
