Fire Protection Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at SERIT FIRE PROTECTION. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Use hand and power tools to install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment
  • Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Service and repair sprinkler systems
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Test systems for leaks using testing equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Sprinkler System Installer Trade Certification
  • Driver's License
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Level one, two, three, four, or five apprenticeship training
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Criminal record check
