Sprinkler System Technical Specialist

As a skilled Sprinkler System Installer at SERIT FIRE PROTECTION, you will be responsible for the installation of piping systems, sprinkler equipment, and control systems at various locations, including commercial and residential sites. Your tasks will include connecting piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment, as well as installing clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment.

Your role will also involve installing valves, alarms, and associated equipment, joining pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment, and servicing and repairing sprinkler systems. Additionally, you will measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size, and test systems for leaks using testing equipment. Strong reading and interpretation skills are required to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience is an asset. You must also hold a Sprinkler System Installer Trade Certification, a Driver's License, and a Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
