Store Manager

Macleod Thrift Store is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily store operations, evaluating performance, and planning and organizing daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff and assigning duties.
- Evaluate daily store performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Plan and organize daily activities, including determining merchandise and services to be sold.
- Manage staff and assign duties, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
- Implement price and credits policies, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, and determine staffing requirements.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Adaptability, collaborative, and goal-oriented.
Macleod Thrift Store is a retail service establishment with a second-hand store. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
