About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Nutraway Systems Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a combination of sweeping and mopping techniques.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust all furniture and fixtures, and polish floors to a high shine.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning: Vacuum all carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and clean any surfaces as needed.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make all beds and change sheets as required, and manage the linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of clean linens.
  • Guest Services: Respond to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
  • General Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required, including washing windows, walls, and ceilings.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced office environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. You may be required to lift heavy objects or bend to reach high shelves.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 32.5 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
