Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Doje Care Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in various locations, including homes, apartments, and healthcare facilities. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Vacuum and dust surfaces, including carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets in client residences
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed
  • Stock linen closets and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
