Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for acquiring and servicing new clients to hold events at Hard Rock Hotels. This role involves selling and servicing various markets, including social, non-profit, corporate, nightlife, in-suite, and wedding events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, sell, contract, and service Sales Contracted events as assigned.
- Draft proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Initiate contact with event organizers and work directly with clients on planning, billing details, and other requirements.
- Create Event Orders (BEO, WEO, HEO) to communicate event vision and details to the operations team and support events as needed.
- Maintain complete files on all future and past groups and private parties as per departmental standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and time schedules.
- Ability to work holidays and weekends.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages preferred.
- Successful background check required.
- Age requirement: 19 years or older.
- Prior sales experience with a track record of accomplishments.
- Exceptional guest service and high sense of urgency.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience; prior experience in luxury resort settings preferred.
