Job Title: Global Health Research Project Lead

BC Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Health Research Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Institute for Global Health, you will play a critical role in the development and monitoring of our global health research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans to support global health research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with study investigators to review research protocols and study designs.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure study requirements are met.
  • Engage with health professionals across campus in global health through regular meetings, events, communications, and interest groups.
  • Support the development of partnerships and collaborations with healthcare workers in global health research and/or quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an allied health discipline.
  • Minimum of one (1) year recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with a wide range of service providers.
  • Demonstrated interest in clinical research.
  • Demonstrated relevant clinical research knowledge.
  • Knowledge of global children's and/or women's health.
  • Knowledge of research process and methodology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
