Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Custom Garment Specialist to join our team at ASIYANS TEX AND GIFTWARE INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating made-to-measure garments, fitting, altering, and repairing clothing, as well as operating sewing machines and sewing by hand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create custom garments according to customer specifications
  • Fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required
  • Lay out, cut, sew, and press materials to make hats and other fashion items
  • Operate sewing machines and sew by hand
  • Select and modify commercial patterns to fit customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tailoring or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
