About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sewer - Garment Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Uniform Garment (N.A.) Ltd. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products.
  • Set in sleeves, pockets, collars, and other garment pieces using precision and attention to detail.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to achieve high-quality results.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including canvas, cotton, knits, leather, satin, silk, and velvet.
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as button holers, double needle machines, and leather stitching machines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines and achieve quality standards.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in garment manufacturing or a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliability and accuracy in completing tasks.
