Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

At Esso Reddi Mart, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and supervise their activities
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30-44 hours per week
